Some elements of history
SwissLink, the initial name of OpenBusiness, was founded in 1991 by Pierre-Marie de Muralt and acted from the very beginning as a network management company operating a Bulletin Board System (BBS), a precursor to World Wide Web.

In 1996 SwissLink became a limited company under the corporate name “OpenBusiness”. It has specialized in technologies based on Internet Protocol (IP) and associated services. Since then, the company continuously grows and diversifies its activities. Currently OpenBusiness provides various international companies with support and maintenance services, manages a hosting / housing center and a co-operative network of hardware distribution. |
The engineers of OpenBusiness are highly experienced in operating systems and networks in environments such as Microsoft Windows or UNIX. They have developed in particular software (mainly related with Internet services) in Linux environment. Their abilities in such complex fields enable them to offer, in almost any technological domain, highly reliable and economic solutions. |
